The Sala Construction
On December 5, 2011, the Lao Buddhist Temple of Denver suffered a major loss as fire engulfed and completely destroyed the existing building, the Sala.
In wake of the disaster, the Lao Buddhist community came together, united, to rebuild the Sala and in effect, rebuild the community. Volunteers all across Colorado came together, rolled up their sleeves to design and build the new Sala. Now in 2025, the construction is near completion. Thank you for everyone's support and generosity through donations to make it happen!
